Solicit and contract group business to meet and exceed revenue and room night goals from new and existing accounts with emphasis on Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Identify and qualify prospective accounts and convert them into top producing accounts. Conduct approximately ten sales trips per year to solicit key accounts and attend industry and trade shows. Excellent sales and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to make oral presentations, draft formal correspondence and develop successful long lasting relationships with clients. Good organizational and time management skills necessary. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Knowledge and experience with Delphi is a plus. Minimum of three years’ experience in hotel group sales with corporate and/or association, luxury resort with golf, prefer experience with South/Mid-Atlantic markets.
