Responsible for the preparation of all tax estimates, annual tax filings, annual distributions and related tax filings (592B), long term projections, cash planning, preparation of annual Offering memorandum for annual auction. Assist with auction process, management of partner lot sale program. Prepare annual property tax returns. Analysis of opportunities to seek reductions in property tax. Liaison with brokers on all insurance (property, D&O, Work Comp, Stop Loss), Water Reclamation, PBC representative on Water Board/monthly accounting, Special Analysis projects. Work with various Sr. Staff individuals on analysis of resort operations. Develop pro formas and evaluation of opportunities as they arise. GAAP accounting balance sheet/income statement analysis on a monthly basis. Preferably a few years of practical experience outside of public accounting. Willing to work long hours as needed. Detail oriented; problem solver; strong financial acumen. Analytical thinker who can clearly articulate his/her views in a concise manner. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel; strong technical aptitude. Strong leadership skills; the potential to become a future senior leader in the Company. Preferably 5-7 years of experience with a public accounting firm with both tax and audit experience. CPA preferred. Bachelor's degree preferably in business/accounting MBA a plus.
